Peter's Holiday Apartment in Copenhagen - The surroundings
Nyhavn harbour area – Just outside the door step
In the old days ships from all over the world came to Nyhavn
and life in the harbor had a look of sailors, public houses,
fille de joies and party. In the twentieth century the merchant
and harbor area was beautifully renovated and now contains many
restaurants – indoors as outdoors. Business men, tourists and
other persons are able to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere, the
varied cuisine, cold beer and jazz music. All these mixed with
loud talking and laughter keep the nostalgic spirit of the
harbor alive today.
